Welcome to DrawingEveryUTAU!
DrawingEveryUTAU (DEU) is a project I started in October of 2024; it's a passion project driven by my love of UTAU as a medium and it's community.
It's mainly hosted on Tumblr, this carrd is to have a more clean and convenient place to put information on than trying to cram everything into the pinned post.
Frequently Asked Questions
"Can I use art you drew of this UTAU for a video/can I put it on the UTAU's wiki page?"
Yes! That's exactly why I'm doing this project to begin with, I'd love to see the art I use in covers and other projects. ^^"Do you actually think you can draw every UTAU?"
Of course not, that's humanly impossible, there are so many UTAU out there that it's be impossible to catalogue every sinlge one, let alone draw all of them. 'DrawingEveryUTAU' is just a catchier name than 'DrawingMostUTAU', you know?"What programs do you use?"
For art I use both ClipStudioPaint and IbisPaint, using an XP Pen 12 tablet and SamTab Galaxy S6 respectively. For UTAU covers I use OpenUTAU, Reaper for mixing, and YukkuriMovieMaker for video editing.
UTAU I will and won't draw
As long as an UTAU is publicly available in some way, they are free game to be drawn, barring specific exceptions>A derivative/genderbend/sibling UTAU that's achieved by changing the gender value of a preexisting bank. An UTAU must have it's own independent bank.
>If you can only download the UTAU through a Discord server; while it's technically public, having to join a Discord server Just to download something is annoying.
>UTAU with racist, orientalist, or transphobic designs or lore.
>UTAU made by people who are reportedly dangerous or just generally shitty; Near's Garden, Allen Void, Starsandcosmos31, scott (creator of SCOTTPOID), paraqs/paraps, seiren seren, TeionLeeIRL, Dav-P, lepinwheeloid42809, and FrutigerAngel/atlasamspoker
UTAU I will only draw upon request
UTAU I'll never draw of my own accord for one reason or another, but I will draw if they're requested directly.>UTAU created by UpTownP
Also keep in mind I might refuse to draw an UTAU just based on vibes, if I just don't like them I won't draw them. I am not a public service.
